This policy explains how we process the personal data we collect through this website, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection (LOPDGDD). Processing of data within the Meet2Face app is governed by the app's own privacy policy.

2. What data we process and why
Contact form
- Data: name, email address, whether you are a user or a venue, and the content of your message.
- Purpose: to answer your enquiry and, if you are a venue, to handle your sign-up and QR code request.
- Legal basis: your consent when submitting the form (art. 6.1.a GDPR) and, when you request to sign up your venue, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Retention: as long as needed to handle your enquiry and then up to 12 months for follow-up, unless a contractual relationship arises or the law requires longer retention.
Browsing the website
- Data: IP address, browser type and pages requested, logged technically by the server.
- Purpose: to keep the website secure, make sure it works properly and prevent abuse.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest in protecting the website (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
- Retention: up to 90 days, unless needed to investigate a security incident.
Web analytics (Google Analytics)
- Data: cookie identifiers, pages visited, visit duration, device type and approximate location. Google Analytics 4 does not store your full IP address.
- Purpose: to obtain aggregate usage statistics to improve the website.
- Legal basis: your consent through the cookie panel (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
- Retention: 14 months.
We do not make automated decisions or build profiles with the data collected on this website.
3. Recipients
We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law. To provide the service we use providers acting as data processors, with whom we have signed the agreements required by article 28 GDPR:

- Web analytics: Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics), only if you accept analytics cookies.
The website's fonts and images are served from our own server, and Google Analytics is only contacted if you give your consent.
4. International transfers
If you accept analytics cookies, Google may transfer data to Google LLC in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, covered by a European Commission adequacy decision (art. 45 GDPR). We make no other international transfers.
5. Your rights
You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to info@meet2face.com and stating the right you wish to exercise. We will reply within one month.
If you believe we have not processed your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
6. Minors
Meet2Face is intended exclusively for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if we find we have received any, we will delete it.
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted connection (HTTPS), encrypted email delivery of the form, protection against automated submissions and restricted access to information.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. The date of the last update is always shown at the top of the page.
